Nick and Anne asked us if we could photograph their wedding before we had ever shot a wedding. Like back in 2014. Whoah. They trusted in what we were doing and that we would be ready to capture the day after all of the planning was done. A few months back, I found out that I would be going solo for this wedding unless I could find someone else and my friends Michaela and Nicole volunteered as tributes. These two ladies truly stepped up to the plate and many of these beautiful images were captured by them. Thank you so much for the help, ladies!
Back to Nick and Anne. I've known both Nick and Anne since early elementary school. Nick has been my younger brother's best friends since middle school. Anne's dad was my soccer coach. I can't tell you how many time Nick's mom sent a plate of deserts home with one of my brothers- she's a great baker! Anne's grandparents gave me my first job (and were fantastic bosses!). Nick's brother and my older brother have been friends for as long as I can remember and I went through 3 years of high school with these two. With so many connections to these families, this wedding was obviously close to my heart. Both the bride and groom's families are so incredibly welcoming and loving that every guest felt like a part of the family that night. I can only hope that these photos convey the incredible love that Nick and Anne share with one another as well as their families. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Anne's gift to her dad- custom cufflinks. Anne's dad was so incredibly proud of these and wanted to make sure that we got a picture of them. So precious!
Anne's mom's corsage included pictures of her brother and parents, who were watching this beautiful day from heaven.
As the ceremony began, guests were graced by the music of three of Anne's friends from her childhood and college years. The music was absolutely breathtaking.
The bride and groom's getaway vehicle- a gorgeous Impala that belongs to Anne's Aunt and Uncle. So much fun!
After taking some pictures of the party, we finally had a few minutes to slip away with the newlyweds and get some photos of just the two of them!
Nick and Anne chose to symbolize their marriage with the God's Knot, or Cord of Three Strands.
"It is said that the Cord of Three Strands symbolizes the joining of one man and one woman by God into a marriage relationship. Marriage takes three; the bride, the groom, and God. By keeping Him at the center of your marriage, His love will continue to bind you together as one throughout your marriage."

Next, The maid of Honor, Anne's sister, and the Best Man, Nick's friend, made their speeches.
Every single groom make this face during the Best Man's speech! The best man always chooses the best story. :)
Nick and Anne provided small video cameras for the guests to carry around for wedding footage. Nick's brother Jeff had one on him ALL night!
Thank you again to Mr. and Mrs. Ziel for letting us be a little part of your big day. It is evident to anyone who knows you how strong the love is between you two and how far it will carry you. We wish you luck in the many adventures that lie ahead.
